It's been a long day, and I'm heading to bed now, so I'm not going to write much tonight. But I just wanted to say two pieces of good news:
Bonnie arrived safely at her new home.
And the meeting with the trainer went very well. We still have a lot of details to work out, but I think that Senter is going to go away for training and to be promoted as a stud.
I'll talk more about it later, but I'm tired and it's my bedtime.
Goodnight everyone!
Congratulations! I'm sure he'll do very well. He's a lovely stallion.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteCool! The boxes arrived this weekend as well! Wow! What kind of loom, carder, wheel, etc do you have? You're definitely a better spinner than I am - your skeins of yarn are awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh good, I'm glad they arrived safely. That took a long time for them to get there, but I guess they were pretty huge boxes and they were traveling a long way!
ReplyDeleteMy carder is a Fricke (now Strauch) drum carder (http://www.strauchfiber.com/). Very sturdy, does a good job. Although nothing can make carding be NOT tedious!
My spinning wheel is my beloved Shacht Matchless double treadle wheel (http://www.schachtspindle.com/products/spinning/spinning_wheels.htm). Wonderful wheel, and so beautiful.
I have a large and a small triangle loom from Hillcreek Fiber Studio (http://www.hillcreekfiberstudio.com/ ). The small one is what those weaving samples I sent you were woven on.
I also have a Schacht Mighty Wolf loom (http://www.schachtspindle.com/products/weaving/wolf_looms.htm) that I bought used, but I haven't had a chance to learn to use it yet!
