A Bird's Eye View

The ewes are still holding off on lambing. I now have 7 ewes plus yesterday's lamb squeezed into a lambing area that was originally intended to house only 3-4. I set up two extra makeshift lambing pens in there, and I've still had to double up the occupancy in a couple of pens.

These girls better hurry up, because I have about 4 more ewes that are supposed to be due this weekend. They can't ALL fit in there at once!

While we're waiting for new lambs to be born, here's something fun to look at. My husband was playing around on Google Maps yesterday and put in a marker for where our farm is. So now, if you go to Google Maps and search for Ingleside Farm, Buckingham, VA, you can find a map to our house. If you zoom in, and click on the option for "satellite" image, you can see a bird's eye view of our farm.

Pretty neat!

Google maps or Google Earth, are so cool! I'll have to go check it out.

I was tagged for my very first MEME today, and then I had to tag six more people when I was done. You're one of the people I tagged, so I thought I'd give you a head's up. Don't feel like you have to do it, it won't hurt my feelings if you don't. :o) I did mention your name and a little about you, plus a link to your blog. :o)

Hi Rhea. Thanks for tagging me! I did a similar meme recently---can we pretend that I did it in response to you? :-) Here it is:

Those were fabulous bits of Nancy-trivia! I loved the Legend of the Silkie sculpture, so simply and lovely. You are brave to pose naked and to have your whole body painted (where's that picture? lol). Very cool.

Ouch about hitting your head with the horse's. And way too cool about Stephen King and your rock castle! Thanks for sharing that, I wasn't reading your blog at that point, so that was very cool!
