I was putting together some baby pictures of Shane last night, to send to the lady who is buying him, and it got me thinking that it would be fun to post some photos off all my horses that I have baby pictures for, so you can see how fast they grow and change:

See How They Grow!

Oh Nancy! How magnificent to see how your horses have grown into such handsome critters. It was interesting to me to see how their markings changed as they grew up. They are all such fine looking animals...
Thanks! It was fun putting the photos side-by-side and seeing how much they change.
Fall is here, and I just realized these next few weeks will be my last chance to get any good photos of the babies for a long, LONG time:
Pretty soon, they'll be all fuzzy and unkempt-looking in their winter coats. And by the time they shed out in the spring, they'll be into their awkward, gangly, yearling phase.
No horse looks good as a yearling, because the different parts of their body don't all grow at the same rate, so they look out of proportion with themselves.
So, by next spring, Torchsong will look much better, but all the young fillies will look much worse.
Guess I should take lots of pictures now!
